About Women to Women

At City Light Church, our Women to Women group strives to create a community rooted in the biblical call to love, serve, and support one another. The "one another" passages throughout the New Testament remind us of God's heart for unity and care within the body of Christ. These scriptures are not just commands, but invitations to actively live out the love of Jesus in practical and meaningful ways.

Here are just a few of the powerful "one another" verses that shape the essence of our Women's group:

Love One Another – "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another." (John 13:34). This is the foundation of our group: loving each other deeply, just as Christ has loved us.
Encourage One Another – "Therefore encourage one another and build each other up." (1 Thessalonians 5:11). In our meetings and fellowship, we seek to lift each other up, reminding one another of God’s promises and providing strength for the journey.
Bear One Another's Burdens – "Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ."(Galatians 6:2). As women of faith, we support one another in times of joy and challenge, walking alongside each other in both the highs and lows of life.
Forgive One Another – "Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you." (Ephesians 4:32). Our group is a place of grace, where we offer forgiveness and understanding, fostering a spirit of unity and peace.
Serve One Another – "Serve one another in love." (Galatians 5:13). Through practical service and love, we follow Christ’s example, using our time and talents to bless others in the group and beyond.

In our Women to Women group, we are committed to embodying these "one another" commands as we grow together in faith, build authentic relationships, and serve the community. It is through this mutual love and support that we reflect the heart of Christ to one another and the world around us.
